Function: applyInt64Policy()

applyInt64Policy(rows, label): ReleaseRow[]

Defined in: src/core/releases.ts:701

The INT64 policy over every column of row objects. Mutates and returns rows.

Parameters

rows

ReleaseRow[]

The rows to update in place (the first row's keys define the column set).

label

string

The loader name used in warnings (e.g. "load_cfb_ratings").

Returns

ReleaseRow[]

The same rows array.

Remarks

Per column: an id column (isIdColumn) of exact integers becomes decimal strings, whatever the storage type (INT32, INT64 bigint, or a DOUBLE holding 39 -> "39"); an id column that is not exact integers is left as read with ONE SDV_INT64 warning per (loader, column) per process and falls through to the non-id rule. Any other column: bigints (scalar, or nested in lists / structs) become number when every one is a safe integer, else the column keeps its exact bigints with ONE warning. The loaders run this only on id columns and on columns some season stores as INT64, not on every column; this export runs it on every column.

Example

applyInt64Policy(rows, "load_cfb_ratings"); // rows[0].team_id: 39 -> "39"
