Statuses retried by default (sdv-py dl_utils._RETRYABLE_STATUS). 403 is in the set because ESPN Core v2 answers 403 under load.

Remarks​

[403, 408, 429, 500, 502, 503, 504]. A family replaces the whole list with FamilyDefaults.retryStatuses (auth-gated families drop 403); there is no per-user override. Status retries are capped at min(retries, 4) by request().
